after some mishaps with bonus area which unfortunately force to quit , kossai pivot back to base game to finish final bosses .
did play true final boss once before update . actually kind of unsure of thoughts on new version , from september this year . think visually and emotionally more impactful , but remember have great fun with original and sort of expect similar - new version was not same kind of fun .
to talk about changes - no story spoilers :
new version of final boss have heart mechanic similar to bosses like freia - boss is invincible , with vulnerable heart objects on map . shoot these to progress , but unlike others this will not damage health .
after all of these sections , will get some story - and then maps begin to appear and overlay one another , each with hazards . boss is invincible , but health will now slowly drain , so all player need is to survive barrage .
in old version , boss fight was in 1 singular tiny room , with 5 grapple spots . get to whip around and dodge direct attacks , overwhelm but in very fun way . also help that grapple feel like flight , especially when get in rhythm . again , boss is invincible but health will slowly drain , so there is nothing to do but fly through barrage .
fortunately , previous fight should be in forest of recollections , so hopefully can revisit . :)
