kossailike any daedric prince , but especially because of domains , sheogorath is full of multitudes and fluidities . this is what lead to split of mania and dementia in shivering isles , even . in short term there is fluidity of madness , and in long term , fluidity of faces .
short term - fluidity of madness
as source of madness , sheogorath embody all aspects . from day to day , hour to hour , occasionally even minute to minute , how aspects shine can shift . these aspects can include clarity of thought , clarity of language and communication , emotional control , impulse control , sense of logic and ability to connect information logically , risk assessment and judgment calls , hallucinations , and so on .
thus , in sheogorathean stability , sheogorath is typically unstable . by contrast , sheogorath in typical stability is sheogorathically unstable .
sometimes sheogorath can communicate very clearly , but ideas nonsensical . other times , sheogorath can not communicate ideas at all , but those ideas very clear internally . likewise , those ideas might be harmless to mortal subjects , or possibly destructive and fatal .
especially with ascent of thaliendir into sheogorath , haskill can reflect some of these traits in opposite ways - counterbalance of sorts , very useful where ideas might prove to be dangerous for realm or sheogorath personally .

each time greymarch end and sheogorath return to self , that sheogorath is effectively new incarnation or new face , though prior faces of sheogorath tend to live on within mind of current face .
this is not apparent to most , often write off changes as fluidity of madness instead - only haskill and dyus understand full extent . each face have different preferences and personality which underline choices and presentations of mad aspects .
for example , thaliendir as current face often do not present violently where prior faces would , out of preference for dialogue and discussion when possible . this current face also retain inability to speak , and communications tend toward magical or telepathic visuals .
prior faces no longer hold control - all of that lie in hands of current face . still , prior faces can speak within mind of current face , audible to no one else . in some cases , can also impose visuals and sensations - force hallucinations , more or less .
that in mind , these faces do tend to cycle out of activity and become dormant either over time , or to preference of current face . should faces continue to cycle , there will be time even face of thaliendir is hardly around .

dependent on form of skooma cat , specifically - non-khajiit forms of sheogorath do not experience this .
any face of skooma cat can toe line into housecat impulses , but thaliendir especially so . as skooma cat , there will be times where thaliendir seem to present as entirely ordinary housecat , though still sheogorath at core . this is also not in correlation with other fluid aspects - can fall into any set of traits at any time , through housecat-esque lens . might hunt hallucinatory creatures , fail to consider consequences of climb tall or unstable objects , and so on .
