about word mixups

( originally write as tumblr post , but decide do not want to deal with any pancake-waffle nonsense . )
something that frustrate is when people assume mix up of words is indicator that whoever mix those words up do not actually understand subject , and therefore can not have valid thoughts or opinions - especially if person struggle to realise and self-correct .

some people do use words without fully understand in effort to seem smarter , more logical and grounded , and may double down when backfire . also just as well true that some people do not speak as first language - but lots of factors can also influence language production , even if first language speaker . just because someone is first language speaker is not indicator of superiority feelings .

some people may recall words primarily in groups , anything from colours and fruits to types of injury and philosophical concepts . might take time to narrow down which word is correct for situation , and may get incorrect - understand that this crayon is red , but brain pull up blue first , and so blue is what say . picture based AAC methods may be able to help , but even then mistakes can happen - and personally find this affect sign language production as well . whether write or sign , can mix up words in these groups , and may still say something that is technically valid but not what actually want to say .

in written form , people can also just spell things wrong , whether struggle to grasp overall or today is just hard day . sometimes misspell may look like other unrelated words , or in case of autocorrect software , may become other unrelated words .

some people who mix up words in conversation might want questions and corrections , others would prefer not to draw attention and continue conversation in some form , unless literally too incomprehensible to do so - and sometimes preferred approach will depend on topic and situation . no matter what , would for sure appreciate if keep kindness and patience in mind .

one of worst frustrations in this game is chat system . honestly really love that chat is not default method of communication ! have to either sit down at designated areas , or become friends and make choice to unlock . importantly , chat is not requirement to continue friendship tree if so desire . only time when chat is default is if use friend code to add each other , because at that point must coordinate on another platform - make sense that would then trust each other enough to want chat , so chat is default in that case only . 

really love that , because people then turn to other methods of communication - emotes , expressions , calls ! maybe if have fun enough time together , will then become friends , and then ... and then ... and then some people decide to throw this alternative communication right out of window , and want to barrel into unlock chat , because words make for superior method of communication . 

some people will offer once , and if reject , will accept game's design and work with lack of words , not against . other people will offer again , and again , and again and again and again . these people will spam honk , will chase down if run away , and make fucking problem . unfortunately run into several more of these people now than in 2021-2022 , and hate every time . there is no quicker way to make kossai dip out and block than to try and forcefully unlock chat - especially if chase down into area like tranquil garden . 

sometimes think sky really need equivalent of middle finger emote to really send message - like here , chat with this , asshole .
