do have to say , there is something sad about already know biggest secrets in gravity falls just through internet osmosis , so miss out on that first revelation impact and larger theory abilities ...
but , also get chance to immediately see and recontextualise things from early episodes , so maybe not all bad !

true as well . honestly , think gravity falls was genius between all of codes and hidden secrets - there was theory bait from as early as episode 1 , and remember even from outside fandom as people lose mind over author hoax ( spoilers ) .
these things drive people to come back , to repeat view again and again , to take notes and share with each other . that was whole experience - and not really one which happen anymore , unfortunately . :(
