so badly want this house to be pretty , and already eat up lots of survival materials and preparation time to try make pretty . but so many materials so far off , and worry will get overwhelm with try to build up there if not already have pretty space .

already sort of have this problem in minecraft - often prebuild at least part of base in creative mode , with some general guidelines to keep things fun when back in survival . will not fill in rooms or give items , for example - only real exception is light sources , strictly within base .

... and in game with so much more focus on survival , feel like might be best way to go - satisfy builder play style without accidentally spell doom . if have more experience in game , would be great challenge to balance build and survive , but right now ? probably better to recognise and fix problem , so can experience actual survival .

reflection , actually , this was how even play first real minecraft world at all , way back in 2013 ! and hey , still play minecraft 11 years later , so this gamemode swap hardly ruin experience . :P
sometimes people balk and demand justify things like that , but really , know how brain work and how should probably best handle . always regularly back up game save files anyway , so can reverse things if really hate .

yeah , can definitely see that ! not bad thing in self , different design for different games , but ooh just burst with ideas , and have largely aesthetic builder play style in any games where build is possible . love to lay out beautiful meticulous plans !

You will greatly appreciate once you get the chisel then. You can break down blocks into sub-pixels and carve stone into custom shapes!

Also, as a somewhat undocumented feature, you can make drawings on the walls using charcoal, chalk, and a few other colored minerals. This allows you to make simple drawings, but you can also overlap them to make more complex (albeit still rough) art. Thought you might appreciate knowing!
