if there is another small thing to miss about reblog features : sometimes want to talk about something , but pretty much already say same things once before . on other sites can reblog to " say again " but , not really here . would have to just link and say hey maybe go look again ?

on that note , think about faerie body and brain again .

Yes ...

I deliberately post things once so I can just use a link back to them. However, some people prefer to repost things manually -- open a new post window, put your old post in edit mode, then copy-paste the old content into the new post. It takes longer but gets the job done.

If I crosspost the same thing, like a photo-essay to my blog, [community profile] birdfeeding, and [community profile] common_nature then yes, editing is a pain in the ass.

But I have other posts that I repost frequently; Good News and Hard things are always the same, plus the base text for Cuddle Party is the same but sometimes I add recipe or craft links. If I make a change there, it just gets copied forward; I don't have to worry about editing older posts. The boilerplate for the Poetry Fishbowl I just copy and paste, then customize for the new theme.

So think about how you want to use posts, or reposts, and which method would work best for yours.
