kossaikossai do describe this court as " mostly earth born faeries " and not all wrong , but this sort of discount another common source : fictionfolk and other multiversal folk - which is where all of those thoughts come from . not develop from nowhere , after all ! these folk almost always fall outside of earth born framework , but individual rules often not relevant to usual discussions , so tend not to come up ...
fictionfolk commonly will have some reason to come here - usually desire to explore , or need for some reason to escape . often upon arrival , will describe as just suddenly awaken in this new and unfamiliar place , and that some kind of mysterious pull draw here specifically .
fictionfolk do not usually show up without first some kind of interest from kossai - sort of like interest allow connection to bridge , so that person can follow . and just as this person will feel pull to come here , so too will kossai feel restless pull to repetitively engage relevant pieces of media .
in other collectives , would be something like ... fixation and repetition lead to formation . or even interest alone is enough to make bridge and pull in , no repetition necessary .
here though ... this is usually not full transfer , as this can cut off from home universe entirely - not usually ideal unless already dead or doom absolutely inevitable . more often bilocation , and so to go through process , kossai also have to " make vessel " . this is not literal process , as in hand craft something which newcomer can possess . more like have to feel out space for this person , learn curves and grooves and how to fit in , how to best mingle and settle with workings here . and that process is just , easier with focus and repetitive engagement .
