kossaikiliban really is nerevar reincarnate . so was many before , but kiliban only one to succeed . and ... nerevar also end with kiliban . if nerevar give up reins of soul to azura , then kiliban take back .
see , no one like when kiliban is kiliban , that dirty , messy madman . this was true for all life before vvardenfell , but some people of vvardenfell give hope that maybe this could change . that people would see kiliban , real kiliban , and think : so happy to know that man .
but then learn from caius that might really be this nerevarine . and not only that might be , but have to go out of way to say so , to prove so . and as people come to meet , learn , and believe ... none of that love is love for kiliban . can know this to be true when kiliban slip , when fail to live up to that put-together , neat and tidy , heroic presentation . when kiliban speak like madman , twitch and lash out and struggle ... no , people do not like that kiliban at all - only tolerate because of hope and need for nerevarine .
kiliban want to care about people , love people . and still try best to stick up for those who need most , coincidentally people who do not care whether or not nerevarine , slaves especially . but pain of this nerevarine image , pain of no one love kiliban for self here and now , drive to snap .

no doubt for azura , there is sort of familiarity and possessiveness in how nerevar give control , trust down to core . even when job is done , and all that is left is immortal life ... how could azura just so easily let go , face down certainty that nerevar will finally be no more ?
