thaliendir ~ basic history

kossaithaliendir grow up in valenwood community near imperial border . this community have lighter terms on green pact - still important to use everything possible , give respect , and not take for greed , but not forbidden from harvest , cut , and burn if necessary .
this community place more importance on divines than perhaps other bosmeri communities might , potentially even recontextualise some figures of bosmeri pantheon as simply aspects of divines , likely in part from proximity to imperials . in any case , thaliendir learn something of eclectic mix .
now , thaliendir never learn to speak - mouth and brain just do not cooperate and connect as such . more struggles become apparent as thaliendir age - struggle to learn and to keep up with others , struggle to keep thoughts and mind in any one place , at times follow logic that was nonsensical to others .
people mostly consider to be madman , and outcast as such - did not have much in way of friendship or even family here , though people did share skills and teach where possible . would learn how to make art and music in many ways , but especially grow attach to lyre . as well , would learn how to cast illusion magic , and both bosmeri and imperial sign languages , so that thaliendir could have something of voice .
in terms of religion , one way which people try to control was through song and hymn . briefly , even seem to succeed - while incredibly broken and weak , did " learn " with great trouble how to force out sounds that at least resemble one of these . but this apparent success only earn more ire , as never really happen again .
thaliendir would hear stories of punishment for those who wander , and that even stendarr can not save all - one must at times save self . people would often invoke mara around thaliendir , as well , this idea that exist this way to help others learn " unconditional love " , that one must love others in spite of madness , weakness , and disability .
thaliendir would eventually leave valenwood to travel all around , to bring art and music to people . career start out inoffensive , but wounds run deep and dark indeed . later , thaliendir explore relationship with religion , and invite others to try as well .
this too start out somewhat inoffensive - mostly ask others to consider if really act under values and expectations - but over time become more vitriolic . can either mara or stendarr make claim to titles of love and mercy if happily allow followers to hurt someone innocent ? can worshippers even call selves real people , or just puppets to prop up divine egos ? why do worshippers act as if this is acceptable , is worshipper really nothing more than maggot ?
this , at age 53 , is where events of oblivion would start - with thaliendir in jail , and emperor who personally pardon despite everything .
is there irony , then , that thaliendir would later become sheogorath ?
