technology woes !

kossaiseem like at least one , if not both , flash drives maybe about to die . one fare slightly better , but other heat up too much for comfort after only short usage , and lag to death - then crash file explorer outright - during simple folder navigation .
these things last since ... probably at least 2018 ? and move from computer to computer with these , as well as generally hold backups , so not surprise would eventually reach this point .
but still annoy .
