ellona ~ quick thoughts on shouts

another quick crosspost from tumblr .

ellona is nonverbal dragonborn . yeah ! can not speak ! so then … how about shouts ?not really sure of all details in lore explanation , but would like to say shout is sort of two parts - first is to focus and hone in on what one need from shout , and second part is actual expression of shout .

in that way , nonverbal ellona can shout because of ability to carry out first part - second part come out as natural effect of first . but other tongues would learn ability to control this second part , and that is where ellona lack . shouts can come out very suddenly , or occasionally not at all , and pronunciation is not guarantee . sort of like magical sneeze .

now just to figure out why last dragonborn would be some random nonverbal bosmer woman . :P
