replayability , and ability to replay

kossaikind of think just struggle with actually replay games , and not sure why . sometimes really want to play things again , like recently with ellona ii in skyrim - and specifically find story to justify both replay and make some different choices . but even with some specifically new things that never explore and always kind of wonder about , feel like brain resist . did pretty successfully replay rusted moss though , and home safety hotline OK too ... guess more exception than rule .
( also fair to say home safety hotline is puzzle game - need to play again to figure out right answers and get little bonuses , so feel motivation more than block . )
just feel weird about this . so many games sprawl out features and neat quest lines to play again and again in practically infinite ways , and yet really struggle to take advantage of that , even with choices in mind . wish could understand why .
