thaliendir ~ shed mortality

kossaifor 100 years , thaliendir did try to slow roll of ascension - sure , would never be able to hold onto mortal life forever , would inevitably fully become sheogorath and embody madness , but there was still plenty which want to do in cyrodiil .
that in mind ... over those years , power and position would become more apparent , rule over more of life . by final years of this process , would be much more sheogorath than mortal thaliendir , sneakily borrow each day still in cyrodiil and spend most time among isles .
but there was one particular incident which tell thaliendir that mortal time was truly up . sheogorath was always ravenous for entertainment , and so happily listen to one of court musicians . then , from nowhere , fantastic idea : play faster . no , faster ! faster again !
musician was desperate to keep up , when suddenly , strings snap . what should be common sense just ... was not , anymore . not that strings could break , not that musician would be sore and tired , nothing . even sheo offer up that mortal time come to close .
would not be very long before one of mortal friends could get hurt by similar mistakes . desperate to stop this , would leave cyrodiil behind just days after - sheogorath from now on and forever .
henantier , closest friend of thaliendir , was first to investigate disappearance . in thaliendir's house , would find hasty scrawl of note - promise that thaliendir simply return home : will be safe and sound , but can not visit again .
most people would assume home as in valenwood , but henantier was only one to clue in on just who thaliendir was - that mad glint was unmistakeable . in all honesty , to confront that best friend truly was daedric prince still feel so bizarre … but at least happy for times which share together , and try to focus on that .
