still not great shape . but : crochet time . finally start up on this project which want for so long .
not much progress yet , just first chains and single crochets of first panel .

biggest fear is might size out of this at some point - weight is slightly unstable , for known reasons . do not hate fatness , but would hate to never be able to wear ... so hope to be little generous in measurements .

values ~ appreciation

idea of religious values feel sort of foreign to kossai , did not grow up with same ideas of god ( or well , gods ) that others did , nor really have any kind of texts . closest thing which could call real value was very ... this incomplete picture of environmentalism , which unfortunately family give up on rather quickly in face of online shop convenience .
so not always sure of , where to draw this line on whether something is religious value - or political one , or just simply personality and preference . and yeah , even in write this post , still not entirely sure , but would sort of define ... not tenet directly from gods , but things which help to connect , or things which bring some kind of fulfillment . and maybe , sometimes , that will overlap with other categories .

so why not start off with hopefully easy one ?

in this world , beauty and life is everywhere . there is so much to make use of , so much to learn ... and even in quietest moments , so much to see and to hear .
every object hold potential , hold whispers of spirit , of stories . even most amateurish of hands can bring such wonderful life to these objects , even if start as trash .
every creature , from littlest to biggest , would have so many curious , strange , and beautiful stories to tell , if only could fully communicate and understand one another .
every tree , every plant , every gust of wind , every spurt of rain and so much more - not only have life , but allow all other life to exist too .

and so this go on , and on , and on .

appreciation for everything is important to kossai . sure , OK : where possible , kossai like to reduce trashful things . and when that is not possible , will salvage some kinds of trash for art , give chance for new life and full breath of spirit , or otherwise reuse and repurpose . but even this is not always possible - sometimes trash just must go . regardless of outcome , try to appreciate where these things come from , and what these things give and do for kossai .

and so this is true for any craftsmanship , people have to learn and develop and improve materials and techniques , again and again and again , to make anything which is possible today , possible at all .
many of points for craftsmanship apply to food , as well . vast majority of people do not have much luxury of choice in what to get and where from , in who produce and sell , or how these things happen . but always , no matter what : plants and animals have to grow , provide harvest of some kind , even for snacks and " junk foods " . people have to harvest , pack up , send and ship around . people have to stock stores and kitchens and food banks . not only that , but there is so much agricultural history to think about , so many things that could be so much worse if not for efforts of people in times long gone .

and this world in self ! these things which enable life here at all , as well as faeries and beings of other realms who at times make duty to protect . how seeds spread , how things sprout and grow , how rot and decay feed next generations . how rain fall , how wind blow , how sun cycle . how earth even tilt just right for this to be possible at all .
to say nothing of people . there is real goodness , real kindness , so much happiness . some people spend so much time on tiny , fun little things , just to make another person smile . sincerely do believe most people inherently want to support and love each other , even if some unfortunately learn horrible lessons .

there is lots in this world which is sad , unfortunate , even devastation . and not to give impression that kossai is somehow above this , above all consequences and harm and here to talk down - because certainly not - but if anything ? think now more than ever is time to hold on and appreciate everything which can appreciate , and use that appreciation , that memory , that hope and sheer spite , to continue on , to fight to preserve and improve just as predecessors did . if not for entire world , then at least for peers and oneself .
