dancing in the faerie ring

first panel of fairy wing shrug is done ! 
now to ... do that all ... over again . and then can start really fun part - sleeves .

very happy with this pretty little pouch ! no pictures right now , if at all , so to sum up :
pattern : fairy trinket pouch from rabbit hooker crochet .
body : foresty green worsted acrylic yarn , 5mm hook .
drawstrings : cream microfleece yarn and brown " alpaca style " yarn , 6mm hook .

generally , pouch turn out bigger than pattern intend from some stitch errors . and , in general , plenty of stitch errors . but hey , did all this without video or progress pictures - just written instruction !
as well as that , did also intentionally skip 14th round , was happy with size at 13 rounds .

green yarn is now down to not very much , and body is ... in pain . but very happy pain . pouch ! pouch to hold in hands ! pouch to fill with fun little treasures ! pouch to kiss ! lastly , did leave plenty of room on drawstring yarn to potentially add little charms or beads to tails , if anything will fit . :)

want to start up something cute , which work from magic ring . first time for everything ! 10 half doubles / half trebles / however want to say in that magic ring , then join by slip stitch . tutorials ... easy enough . get to work , not too bad .
then , pull on tail to close circle ! say bella coco .

yeah no nothing happen , this thing is stuck in place . oops . would have to guess way too tense or something .

so in short , kossai try for 1.5 hours to crochet , but everything just turn out so , so wrong . spend another 1.5 hours on mope , because sometimes , what need is to cry .
then switch out , and , well ...



undo everything from before , and work this up in 20 minutes . not that that was easy 20 minutes - and no , not have right size needle to properly weave ends right now , so just have small security knots . but that 20 minutes would not be possible without 3 hours before - both try , and cry .

really do love to try out new crafts , new things in general . was very upset that this seem to go so wrong - not that kossai expect to be perfect first shot , but did at least want to make something more than mistakes . this is obviously not special thing in grand scheme - but is to kossai , and think good to celebrate that .

would like to make bigger swatch too , just , hurt too much for right now , and really happy just with this .
