antitheism spitball

when people say that antitheism is only correct solution , that even self-made religion is awful , because religions can become tools of control ... just have to wonder what those people think about psychiatry and medicine . these fields have lots to criticise and answer for , and that include forms of mass control , torture , and death . body and brain only have one " correct " mode , and everything else must be bent and broken to fit or erased entirely - society is not what need change , people is .

kossai almost always see such people treat psychiatry and medicine as true defaults of world , but would dare say there is no less harm , both potential and already-acted , in these fields than in religions . but never see any of these people then say that all of psychiatry and medicine should also cease to exist and fall out of records , only ever say this about religions . funny , huh ? almost like this is just excuse to never think about cultures other than one's own ( usually ) white western voidspace .

full truth of matter is that people who want to control will use anything as tool of control - divine , scientific , form is not important , would not solve anything to just whittle away parts of world . people can control each other with emotions , so people should not have emotions . with words , so people should not have language . with actions , so people should not have bodies ! ridiculous . can not help but feel sorry for these people in some sense , but also angry that seem to think answer to mass violence of persecutors is mass violence of persecuted . 

and now about book sites

totally left field now . kind of think about sign up for one of those book websites , if for nothing more than to not dump links directly in browser bookmarks .

library website have custom read lists , but for some reason those literally broken right now so can not use , and not everything that might want to read is even in library system - so far attempts to request yield nothing , might have to bite bullet at some point and just buy despite constraints of money and space . other people's collections might also be helpful to judge books , like if something is list among acotar as great , then might need to expect similar qualities and frustrations !

but ... also never really like to sign up for narrow focus platforms if able to avoid , and have no plans to leave public reviews or commentaries on these places . already do that privately and then have full freedom to say whatever , not restrict based on how other page-lookers will think about plural and alterhuman review . if really want to share with public will just do that here !

plus people always seem to have trouble of endless TBRs , and kossai would not become exception to this , especially when account for individual courtiers' tastes . algorithms and easy to browse collections can make that first step of identify cool stuff easier , especially if do not share as much genre interest with direct friends and peers , but then have to actually find and spend time on even fraction of those books , or else work of lists is for nothing .
