thaliendir ~ secret identity

kossaibetween cyrodiil and shivering isles , who would recognise thaliendir as sheogorath , or rather , sheogorath as thaliendir ?
in cyrodiil , thaliendir make point to not be sheogorathean unless for some reason necessary ... or more fun ... either way , this was secret which try to guard .
one person who would figure out was henantier . thaliendir and henantier very good friends ever since dream world incident , often muck around and explore together ... and maybe quietly some more reckless experiments here and there . when thaliendir return , henantier understand that something indeed happen - but never did ask about that strange glint , those moments of madness , nothing . simply , best friend was mortal , disappear briefly , and seem at least touch by sheogorath upon return . as years go on , would become more certain of this , and swear self to secrecy .
martin would also learn - during final journey to make martin emperor , thaliendir just ... feel need to explain . martin seem to accept this , sort of last thing to chuckle about - one of most faithful heroes is madness incarnate .
maybe if martin was still alive to be emperor , things would be much different for thaliendir's next century of life ... but as is , martin accept this odd fate . most important part was to fix things now , worry about anything else later .
over in shivering isles , of course , people did meet mortal thaliendir first . not very many have extensive interaction , though - and upon mantle sheogorath , that was what stick out to people . no matter if sheogorath look different , maybe similar to that champion who pass through - if presence feel like sheogorath , then unquestionably that is sheogorath , and there is no reason to suspect mortality .
but apart from haskill and dyus , relmyna verenim would remember . that put in weird place - always have bone to pick with mortal thaliendir , but now not just some mortal hero . must respect , will respect .
another layer is definitely in relmyna's obsession with sheogorath's love . thaliendir steal love , thaliendir take very identity , and relmyna still hold feelings for sheogorath . which one ? this one , that one , both ?
in any case , sheogorath will never reciprocate . self marriage .
kiliban nyrandil would probably also remember , but feel much less of bother . quite happy to ramble and prattle on regardless of who sheogorath is , if sheogorath even remember everything , and so on . very much hand wave - yes wonderful , delightful , now please this and that and whatever else .
