pet peeve about treatment of physical nonhumanity

would be nice if people stop say that alterhumans never have physical nonhuman identity ...
some factors could be :

• in some way , legitimately have reason to believe born as nonhuman , such as faerie changelings
• choose as rejection of " only human is worthy " ideas
• similar to some trans ideas , " this body belong to nonhuman , therefore this body is nonhuman "
• plan to start , or already start , on physical modifications or nonhuman gear to reduce dysphoria
• delusion play part in how identity physically feel
• or honestly just feel more comfortable with this , and not need explain or justify why .

what is reason for push back , anyway ?
concern of community look bad ? people who want to look on badly will no matter what .
concern of safety ? not have right to this just because someone is weird , guarantee this always come off as asshole . unless this is very obvious difference from usual behaviour , have no right to " show concern " . and if that person really is in distress or danger , that person need patience and kindness , not callous remarks .
concern of somehow invalidate others ? not how this work .
concern of pretend ? show kindness anyway . if this is pretend and rage bait , person will make clear in time , or give up entirely . and if not pretend at all , congratulations on new friend with different life experience !

sometimes there is also this push , every time that someone talk about physical identity , need say " but not physical shifters ! those people bad ! " and just feel like not really help case to keep associate like this , even if is just to try push back .
like - problem with physical shifters is not in what experience , no matter how " real or not real " that experience is . problem is when these people make point to drag others in , to lie to people and steal away time energy and money , which is not exclusive to any community , and not something inherent to physical shifters .

remember this way : physical shift can be good bait line for new and dysphoric alterhumans , but not mean every single person who make claim to physical shift is some horrible evil . bear in mind some is also almost certainly just kids try to feel cool , who discover this new identity and want to play with . physical world spaces give less and less room for this even in teenage years , so internet is common place to turn .
be wary , ignore and block if need , but be careful of blanket statements and misdirect hate .
