ought to really post this here too as reference !
backdate to original time of posts from cohost , but slightly update with new thoughts as well .

island mechanics :

• possible to revisit any island where take photo , but only 24 slots in photo gallery - answer from creator of game confirm that these slots do not erase photos , but , gallery will only show 24 most recent ones . 
• can save islands to memories , if interact with pink orb on boat , which will give permanent access . not sure if there is limit to memories !
• also , coordinates in every photo . same coordinates will show same island each time , so this is another way to revisit - and also share with others . :)
• if ever get stuck anywhere , or just need to suddenly quit without access to boat , just make sure screenshot or write down coordinates ( visible in pause menu ) , and will have way to return .

island exploration :

• sprint is not on by default . have to enable ability through menu . press shift once , and next movement will sprint .
• default jump is fairly high . terrain can be dramatic at times , but so far never get stuck for long - always find way to jump up and climb out .
• in bodies of water , eye level will generally stay above water , but different wave heights can intersect and slightly pull under . there is no underwater filter on vision . ( this is very important for kossai , because of phobia around water - swim in games almost always make panic , but not here . )

everchanging equilibrium :

• random island which change daily !
• can save to memories like any other island , which will allow revisit any time .
• but , each snapshot will come with same set of coordinates .
• this set of coordinates also will not bring player to any daily islands , not even current one . very super pretty island though !
• so , no - can not give coordinates to slowpoke friend . can still revisit through memories .
