never once use simply plural , so really have no perspective on shutdown or just how important this is , but this kind of thing is pretty big contributor to why prefer simplest forms of things possible . know even that is not always viable but like , honestly try complex solutions for things in past and always just give more trouble than worth . rather just stick with spreadsheets , obsidian vaults , even straight text files and information encoded into filenames . file types that do not rely on one single program and hopefully will not see obsoleted within lifetime ...

wish there was more of that widespread instead of all these hyper-specific apps that might shut down at any moment . flexible templates for solutions that already exist , and hopefully will continue to exist .
