kossaion one hand , think would be lovely if could get legal recognition of faerie personhood , not human one - especially if get to open up avenues to express faerie biology and needs in medical system , without fear of lose access and rights .
on other hand , in this political climate ? frankly wish legal processes could have as little hold over identity as possible in first place - no sex markers rather than freedom to change sex markers , for example . just too many ways this shit can be ( and is ) used against people .
( not to mention genuine semantic difficulty of pin down how nonhuman personhood could be legally defined , and what criteria of inclusion or exclusion would be . )
