kossaiin hindsight very much would be thaliendir as sheogorath thing to drive someone to hyperfocus state in which feel need to make erotic male art . that is ... so incredibly thaliendir .
some time in 4th era , there is this brilliant khajiit artist . people know this man for beautiful , almost otherworldly scenes with unusual figures , yet lifelike detail . where did these come from ? did this man once see things that no mortal should ?
... not really important , at least not to this story . no , important part for this story is that this man is lonely recluse behind facade . know great love , and great loss also . maybe that is why , then , hide away from feelings for handsome man within this very town ...
so sheogorath see fit to inspire .
in dead of night , this man wake with frenzy , and sketch by candlelight . and then as sun rise , take sketches to canvas , put together best parts of each .
when done with one , this man would simply move on and do another . and another ... and another . all of men in various states of undress , poses suggestive , sometimes outright pornographic . again and again and again , even as style disconnect and disjoint further and further from this beautiful realism of fame .
people get really worry after not see for 5 days , and finally convince guards to please check in . what find is this man , now thoroughly exhaust and collapse on floor , absolutely surround by this art , broken pottery , and worn tools , and mutter incomprehensible things to someone .
( someone who may or may not be there , and may or may not be sheogorath , of course . )
fortunately , was able to get help and avoid death ... but still delirious for some time - possibly due to toxic paint water - and just maybe confess love to townsman who was in heart this whole time ...
how did things turn out ?
well , sheogorath could not say for sure - was very upset about nearly kill this man on accident and nearly cause total mayhem within shivering isles as result , so did not get to see outcome .
but would like to think that all was well , that this man was able to recover and start something new ...
as for that art ? maybe would share to public and stop hide - or maybe never would , but keep as strange yet fond reminder of spiral that start life anew .
