so much more fun and cool ways to give information than books . especially rambles like this . would imagine instruments in cacophony with odd clarity as individual instruments shine and then compete , or painting that shift about and seem to pop out from canvas , not ... book .

neb crescen - 3/10
story is memorable , but actual artifact is ... not very interest . cursed sword that cause to black out and kill ... nah . sheogorath can do better and more fun than that !
would love if get see design , and not just text describe - that might give some more interest . most of points come from story - good story where artifact do as intend , just not intend fun enough .

memory wand - 5/10
classic asshole sheogorath . mwah . some people complain that sheogorath in shivering isles is too lawl random XD rather than mad but could consider that sheogorath simply flow between phases . ahem . anyway .
again with memorable story , and also like design . think might work as stronger if not just target painful memory ... sheogorath delight in unstable and emotionally volatile states , and think more potential for that if just widen scope .
however , 1 point off because art depict jyggalag with face under that helmet . absolute disgust . no . not at all .

purpose is simple , as sacrifical artifact rather than something to keep and use forever - but that design ... that fucking design .
unfortunately not higher than this because of not really have use - good stats yes , but nothing especially fun , and will need to sacrifice and give up as everyone do , so ... not something that get to play with . just … absolutely fucking gorgeous …

so very unfair that even player who become sheogorath can not escape that horrible speed damage , because oh . oh love this so much . scamps just spawn and follow around forever . these will not do anything for player , but not hurt either - and can possibly command and control with magic ! really that speed damage is worst part ...
really love things like this , things that take hold on mind and say " please do not let go , will give so much ! " and make as hard as possible . that is fun way to do cursed artifact . neb crescen take notes .

OK , probably not really , but why not just pretend ? not as if people under effect of staff can do much other than imagine and pretend - but hey ! at least also immune to damage . very fun to take this in oblivion gates and just freeze , freeze , freeze to finish from entrance to sigil stone in like , barely 2 minutes . absolute joy .

just love to make chaos with wabbajack - turn horses into trolls that escape pen , then watch everyone - horses too - get confuse and wonder how horses manage this ! watch forester go after deer and see if can turn tables , or " help " guard out with nasty minotaur .
also ... actually useful with ghostly creatures that can only hurt by magic . so annoy when instantly overencumber because magic lightly brush ear … very happy to take that away and make into something physically vulnerable . not so superior now huh ghosts ? assholes .
