kossaiin look for something specific , kossai come across witchcraft site with spell to summon bill cipher . have to imagine this site is something anyone can contribute to , right ? pop culture paganism is out there , but this seem too low quality to be creation of someone with experience .
anyway , thought entire show was masterclass in why not to do that .
so here is some interpretations on what this would actually do ! of course , these get less and less likely in scope - and also might just not have anything happen .
but sometimes " nothing " deceive - that is to say , maybe things happen which just lack means to perceive , especially true if have cartoon level expectations .
creation of mental construct . these can be unlikely to stick around unless intentionally bring back and reinforce , and also have least ability to do ... anything which want , really . or even anything at all .
honestly feel most likely . not really summon from outside so much as summon up part of self , one that give shape and name as separate from self . but again , need maintenance !
creation of spiritual construct . this one is usually harder to pull off on accident , but weirder things can happen . will likely also need maintenance , of sort - only able to put out and use as much power as give , unless construct gain more experience and ability to self feed .
potentially if someone else go through this process as well , might summon up construct which already exist , but even then would not necessarily be able to know level of power and abilities .
grab attention of some kind of local entity . this entity might choose to mimic or take appearance of bill cipher , or , brain might simply interpret as if bill cipher due to expectation .
this one might happen , if setting is right . that would mean local entity happen around this scene and take interest - not impossible , but dependent on several factors .
actually summon up and invite bill from across multiverse . this might not even be " close to canon " bill - this one could be much worse , or , could be one who would never act on wishes of summoner .
this one is least likely , as most bills probably busy enough in home universe , unless happen to reach out and hit one who already leave , die , or try to escape bounds of universe .
regardless of which one , outcomes would still not be much like cartoon , even if agree to terms of deal - can be much harder for magical and fantastical things to happen and to break bounds here , so biggest effects would be those which impact only summoner . other targets might have subtle if any effects .
i.e. perhaps if already plural prone , might see this bill take up residence as some form of headmate , and therefore might have some kind of ability to possess - or , take front .
but would not have this ability in mind of anyone else , and realistically , probably not even ability to travel directly inside . might be able to ( very loosely quote ) " haunt " and impose subtly on senses from outside , but at that point target might not even have ability to perceive .
in short ? not worth time or energy to try , even if could assure full honesty .
