at this point start to think this set is :
straight from reject bin ,
intentional scam ,
or just really shitty home print .
now that take time to compare with product pictures , this case is not right . with sudden resurgence of gravity falls , 2 and 3 both seem possible .

one glitch ? kind of funny , just cross fingers .
two glitches , across two different discs ? start to get suspect .
three glitches , across three different discs - something is definitely wrong .

test between DVD player and computer - multiple pieces of software on computer , too .
same parts consistently broken . different software handle differently : some just force quit , others try to continue despite everything and just pull old data .

still not test all discs , or all episodes on all discs .
bottomless pit is , so far , in absolute worst condition . after that mess , skip ahead to check and preemptively save heartbreak - dreamscaperers is also at least partially broken . did not get further than that because so immediately frustrate that just , give up .

fucking hate try to shop online . absolute bullshit .

That's awful. It'd be ok if it was a bootleg and worked, but clearly the person making these discs either didn't think to quality check them or didn't care.

I can't blame you for being mad, this is deeply unfair and I think anyone would have reason to be upset. That you have serious reasons to need physical discs (reliable subtitling) is just salt in the wound.

yeah ... would think would be in best interest of bootlegger to assure quality anyway - earliest major glitch is on episode 4 , so would not take much time even for casual watcher to find out and return . can not even pull off scam right ...

bah . would know to expect bootleg if this was 80% cheaper than other copies - out of print and in high demand - but this one was still somewhat expensive .
