fimmion is one of several bosmer men to live in shivering isles - specifically , bliss half of new sheoth . like bolwing , fimmion live on streets , but seem to be fairly content with this life . as well , not unlike kossai who write this post , fimmion speak in unique idiolect - in english , this include use of name in place of first person pronoun most times , very short sentences , and potential echolalia of sweet roll .
fimmion have role in 2 side quests : one for amiable fanriene , and one for ahjazda - amiable fanriene look for somewhere outside to sleep , for fear walls will cave in , while ahjazda seek magical calming pants to survive end of world . ( which in all fairness , ahjazda is not entirely wrong - greymarch is brutal , and that is exactly why sheogorath aim to stop . )

first - amiable fanriene is desperate to find somewhere outside to sleep , somewhere safe from walls . everyone will point towards uungor , who reject mad identity , and believe request to swap beds is just another plot to drive mad .
other people will have different ideas how to handle uungor , but fimmion have something extra special - if , and only if , player give sweet roll . after this , fimmion will reveal uungor's lucky charm and treasure , glass grapes . one day recently , fimmion steal these grapes and attempt to eat - unfortunately come to realisation of glass , not food , and hold on ever since .

second - ahjazda seek 3 items , one of which is pair of calming pants . these pants have enchantment of fortify personality , with intent to calm wearer down - perfect for apocalypse preparation , as panic will only make things worse . but where oh where could one get such pants ?
well , fimmion know - because fimmion wear these exact pants ! fimmion seem quite happy with these pants , and will not give up for just anything ... again , fimmion ask for sweet roll to sate hunger : " fimmion like pants , love sweet roll . " fimmion do not seem to need this enchantment as badly as ahjazda , but possibly form of self medication even so . regardless , fimmion will trade these pants in exchange for sweet roll , and remain pantsless ... well , possibly forever more .

there is one big question to ask : why is fimmion always so hungry ?
in modern days , antipsychotic medications can interfere with hormones responsible for satiety , and metabolism outright . of course , these medications can also be extremely brutal , hence titles like chemical lobotomy - fimmion probably would not have near as much energy or contentment with life . besides that , elder scrolls world would not have these modern earth medications , nor would residents of shivering isles see madness as in need of such treatment .
but , maybe fimmion is on some kind of alchemical treatment for another reason , which happen to bring similar side effect - fimmion is known to have disease ataxia , after all . on that note , though no one else with ataxia seem to be so hungry , maybe this is part of manifestation for fimmion - weak body can not effectively work through and use nutrients , and rely mostly on sugars from pastries and fruits .

ultimately , extreme hunger might have no relation to madness at all , which is not hard to believe if one look at fimmion's overall profile - fimmion struggle with communication , impulse control , and seem perfectly content with pantsless , bedless life , where extreme hunger is incidental . that alone is mad enough for society to reject , and for sheogorath to embrace .

relmyna verenim is very important in shivering isles , even if not nobility . relmyna was responsible for gatekeeper , together with sheogorath - and that gatekeeper was instrumental in safety of realm , able to kill intruders who come to isles in search of fame and fortune .
at least , until thali come along and kill . relmyna was distraught , as actually in love with sheogorath . gatekeeper was not just child in abstract sense , but feel like very proof of this union - and relmyna seem certain sheogorath love , despite constant refusal to answer . simply very busy , that is all ... yes ...

but thali was not just some intruder - no , champion of sheogorath . one of many in lineup of potential prospects , yes , but only one who could actually hold up among madness . everything which thali did was by order of sheogorath - but would relmyna really accept that ?
well , sort of . when thali assist in creation of new gatekeeper , relmyna spit venom that sheogorath would send lackey rather than personally come . here , seem to be aware that sheogorath do not really return love , but still wish and dream ...

would relmyna pick up on relationship of thali and sheogorath ? hmm ... hard to say . thali and relmyna did not interact much , and really all about gatekeeper , but ... imagine if relmyna catch whiff - and just might - thali would never hear end .
might express jealousy that sheogorath return . anger , maybe - wonder why care so much more for some random mortal champion than sorceress who work so hard , who spill blood in pursuit of answers sheogorath want , even need . might understand why , deep down , but still hurt .

... in any case , when thaliendir take over position of sheogorath , relmyna would be one of few citisens to recognise and grasp what happen . and how much that would hurt ... this sheogorath is not sheogorath of memory , even if this sheogorath remember those things . this sheogorath ... this sheogorath was once someone who destroy what was most precious . this sheogorath is someone new and someone old , someone familiar and someone unfamiliar and - point is , would understand if relmyna feel beside self .

how hard would that be ? to look at this stranger who give so much grief , and yet see glimmer of man that so desperately love ? to have to discard some part of feeling and memory to make way for everything else ? to still feel hope and desperation for that very same man , that man who is no longer here , that man who would become another ?
think relmyna , despite pains thaliendir put through , would still have love for 13th era sheogorath - lord sheogorath is still lord sheogorath , specifics regardless . but would also still begrudge thaliendir , try to separate , to pretend as if different , that this sheogorath have no connection at all .

yet 13th era sheogorath would remain distant , still never able to return affections . sheogorath can love only one man - sheogorath .
