problem 1 :
twine ? bitsy ? renpy ? ehh ? most familiar with twine , feel like bitsy would force down much simpler path , and renpy would force focus onto visuals ... probably not ideal for anything but simple plans , in this case . so that would make twine best choice .
problem 2 :
how much complexity in day ? maybe choose from 1 mini quest path for each NPC glarthir originally suspect , and then ... what ? or maybe moreso 1 set path of events , but with variable outcomes ? probably that one .
problem 3 :
how much complexity in character interactions ? mini mood system for glarthir ? say if paranoia climb too high , day will forcibly end as glarthir retreat home to deal with breakdown .
will these ideas become anything ? only time will tell .
