kossai come across these ... " headmate builder " blogs sometimes . now not entirely sure , but this at least seem like come from radqueer community because so many specifically accept and include radqueer aspects , but some recent ones also pop up anti-radqueer .

... not sure what to feel about this . so , idea is that send in some kind of prompt - caretaker with XYZ name and face claim , for example - and then will give literal list of possible identity aspects to fill this person out .
obviously this is intend for crowd who intentionally build up system , for whatever reasons might have . in theory could also see use to help those with headmates who struggle in find self , who start to split , or otherwise need some kind of help to stabilise identity .

but then ... why outsource that to someone else ? why not work on exploration , and allow this person - or what will become this person - to give direct input ? this is not as if give labels in answer to " what would name for this experience be ? " but instead assign experiences outright , usually on basis of aesthetics and that tiny prompt .
maybe that is also part of hangup - aesthetics . long , long do kossai loathe how aesthetics become so important to point of perfect curation and presentation , that actual life and identity is worth suppression . nothing inherently wrong with aesthetic enjoyments , but when these things become identity ? can be so hard to get away and find freedom - imagine even moreso for headmates who exist to basically embody .

I'm with you on that- it can be helpful, but there's more to be gained from learning to help yourself here. Learning to develop your own identity is powerful stuff! Same for breaking out of stuck patterns of "I must be XYZ" instead of getting trying to match prescriptive identity and aesthetics. Folks aren't dossiers. They're fluid people.

The intent usually seems good but the execution leaves something to be desired, I think.

There are a few of those blogs, though... I've stumbled across a few that straight-up try to sell headmates in a system hopping sense. "Pay us money and we'll send this pre-made person to you, possibly a person who was made specifically to be sold". Regardless of whether that's possible, it feels really wrong to sell the rights to where someone exists, let alone to make a headmate specifically for sale.

when fictionfolk arrive here , consider as sort of " build vessel " - not exactly literal , but more or less carve out space to occupy and identify . and by very nature of both multiverse ( as kossai experience anyway ) and this vessel creation process ( imbue with parts of kossai ) , never really end up quite like source . think that would be pretty much same for any purposeful creations and other brainfolk . will always be much more fluid and real than any list could define .

... wow . yeah , hm . never see those in specific , but do know of spirit shops , and those also come with many ethical arguments . but at least when business is legitimate , generally , those spirits exist and experience life before agreement . some people would argue less like literally sell spirit into ownership , and more like sell opportunity to meet , bond , and learn ... still never quite sure how kossai feel about this , but harder to make that case if person in question literally did not exist before .
