have dream about rusted moss map , but like ... 3d sort of ? actual play field and art style still 2d , but at certain points could turn around corners and see different perspective of same things .
this was important because whole map was cityscape rooftops - what was inaccessible from one perspective would be easy from another .

but something really weird about this map was ... shadow clones of fern everywhere ? and remember that as one chase , fern ... OK so fern get wings somehow , but was imply that not really learn how to use properly yet .
so fern take leap of faith , and try to fly ... and unfortunately that is when wake up . that was nice feeling at least , even if very brief .

more wishful thoughts

wish for games with world , art style ( of world , not necessarily characters ) , and exploration like genshin impact , but without take player away into story , fights , and fucking gacha .

exploration simulator with ability to fly , please . know can sometimes tweak other games through commands and mods , but not always compare to something build for that purpose .
even sky cotl do not totally fill this niche , as have candle system that can really feel like ice cubes¹ , always online multiplayer , spirits and stories to follow around ...
like sky is very pretty game , but after get into candle habits , really hard to break even when just intend on explore and have fun . and , maps can be kind of small and linear , with not always lots to explore .

   any time that could spend to make ice cubes , but which not make ice cubes , is waste of time and electrical bill , so therefore must always make ice cubes and sit there dutifully until ice cubes freeze up , ready to swap out for another tray .

   in this case , sky have white general purpose candles , and orange seasonal candles with time limit to certain events , that players use to buy cosmetic and other special items . last kossai know , could only get ~15 regular candles and ~5 seasonal candles per day , unless spend real money , and each seasonal candle will reset between events .
