find problem , find solution ...
May. 25th, 2025 07:39 pmlove incremental and idle games , but almost like ... too much . really easy to hyperfocus and dig deep deep down , end up with ice cube effect - analogy that some video games have so much time crunch in events , that might as well optimise time in front of freezer and constantly swap out trays of ice cubes , so as to not " waste " electricity bill . obviously very silly idea because almost no one would need that amount of ice cubes , and would have to seriously neglect self to actually perfectly optimise .
of course when name of game is numbers go higher , kossai find that effect is hard to avoid , so no longer really play any . but sometimes just get that itch ...
so to preface , kossai actually have browser set to auto-clear cookies and data from all sites after session shutdown , which manually set exceptions for daily use accounts - yeah some sites get pissy about this , but not enough to change overall habit !
what this also means is that browser games also lose cookies . therefore ... can load up something like web version of cookie clicker , scratch that itch ... but never actually save progress long term , which kneecap potential for obsession . like yes could also just export save , or allow site to save cookies ( haha ) , but that is moot when prefer this way anyway .
