marriage in shivering isles

so , yeah , certainly not all planes of oblivion would have marriage or equivalent . but shivering isles is pretty fun one to think about .

in shivering isles , yes , someone could marry oneself - something which even 4e sheogorath personally would do ! perhaps all sheogoraths renew this vow every era ? in kossai version of things , sheogorath is plural and effectively autoromantic , so might be onto something here .
one could also marry objects - if only big head was still alive to marry fork of horripilation , surely would . ( unfortunately , yes , thaliendir's big head is dead . )

and one fun little thought which have : someone could marry as many spouses as able to fit pieces of wedding jewellery on body . perhaps this is just one of those misconceptions , people from outside isles who hear and spread strange stories ... but maybe there is some truth !

in all honesty , probably not too much legal benefit to marriage , and certainly would not get legal recognition outside isles - but actual wedding celebrations ? well , any celebration is another chance to indulge in madness . rumour even tell of one prospective bride who attempt to individually marry every individual grain of sand in hourglass , so that celebration could stretch on forever ...
