kossaialso , entirely welcome to poke questions if there is any hole that might need clearer answer , or other things that might be useful to know .

worldview / theory
this world is far more than just what is visible to average human eye .
all kinds of peoples and creatures exist , but often not visible - let alone tangible - to humans . easy to wonder how that might even be possible , then . how kossai like to explain is as such :
cake theory
this world is like one big cake . like all good , big cakes , this world cake have many layers of confection , and nice frosting between each one . in each layer live those different kinds of peoples and creatures - this one , which view dreamwidth from , is kora innuna . other layers house faeries of different stripes , and demons , and really anything imaginable . one faerie realm kossai talk about is kora fisenna .
what separate is that frosting , barriers of veil , which block from direct view and contact . each realm is physical within self , but intangible to those outside . of course , frosting is not always even - some spots can be thinner or thicker than others , and that means easier or harder respectively to push through .
coexistence
these realms coexist in place - geographical overlap , might say . this means human could have faerie companion at side at all times , but no one would know . again , however , that human and faerie companion can not touch one another , unless faerie can cross veil from kora fisenna into kora innuna .
exactly how things overlap , mirror , and intersect will vary . for example , some faeries live near or within human structures of human settlements . these areas of kora fisenna can then mirror what exist in kora innuna , though likely not in exact form - say , machinery would be defunct and potentially look overgrown . any structures unique to kora fisenna meanwhile , will likely not find mirrors in kora innuna .
connections
each person will have different connections to these realms , and thus ability to tune in where others can not . one person might see faeries in particular place , while another see angels , and another one see nothing at all . to have connection with given realm can imply sensory capability , communication , and potentially some form of travel .
multi-existence
as well as connections , some people have dual existence in another given realm outright . this means body express in two or more realms at once - might have vastly different appearances between realms , but inseparable from one another . ultimately , this is how kossai operate .

faeriehood of kossai
kossai is faerie in all ways .in mind , in spirit , and in body . faeriehood is unshakeable core , can explain pretty much everything for kossai , and prefer faerie-like terms wherever possible .
how and why ?
for how - inseparably tie with religion and spirituality . as for why , not entirely sure , and different theories float around . to share love , to have fun , to shelter strange and outcast faeries , maybe even no particular reason at all .
whether one of those reasons is true , or something else entirely , happy to do those things regardless . :)
faerie body / see multi-existence above
for kossai , one expression is in kora innuna , and appear to be human , though for various reasons kossai do not define as human . have to run this life like human , but always try to spice things up , throw in some love and some fun . this is what humans who look at kossai can see . other expression is in kora fisenna , and very much so look faerie as well . to see this form would require faerie sight , so generally humans will not see , though some keen eyes can catch impressions .
even innuna form is not really that of human . kossai like to explain as human blueprints fit with faerie materials - share many traits in common with humans , and susceptible to same troubles and weaknesses , but also have some entirely different considerations . this include :
- innate connection to faerie realms
- innate abilities of faerie magics
- synaesthesia-like experiences
- cyclical urges (NSFW)
faerie body and disabilities
by legal , medical , and practical definitions , kossai is indeed disabled . over years , examine disabilities and try to understand where these fit .
first category is things which kossai feel to be direct faerie variations . good amount of these things would not have name among faeries at all , simply one of many natural states to be , though exceptions exist .
second category is things which kossai feel happen due to incompatibility . well known from folklore that faeries struggle with some of finer points in human disguises - number of teeth , look and feel of skin , shape and curvature of spine , so on and so on . stand to reason that faerie materials directly on human blueprint also subject to some of these failures , some of which have methods of treatment - where active treatment is occasionally worse than no treatment - and some of which do not .
third category is ordinary human points of failure . do share basic structure after all - still need just as much oxygen , water , food , and sleep as humans , and suffer lack of these in same ways as humans . this is where human methods of treatment fare best .

delusion & disorder , distress & danger - feel very strongly about these topics , particularly as physical nonhumans who see some of most vile sanism and ableism towards community , but just not have posts and links ready right now to do that .
plurality of kossai
kossai is collective address , not one single individual .would appreciate plural versions of pronouns : selves , rather than self .
how many at front ?
usually only one , but might sometimes have backseaters . backseaters do not have direct control unless force , but might throw in opinions and ideas .
individual sign offs and pronouns ?
of course , people in kossai have these - but usually prefer not to share . switch fairly often for one thing , and without any real memory barriers , so most anyone will probably know and understand conversation at hand even if never meet before . people can get very thrown off by that - easier to not make problem .
fictives ?
people here who fit this description do not often like this word , but by said description , yes . do not expect details of these people , as often more secretive than others here .
age range ?
all ages , effectively . however , only adults actually use social media due to reasons like NSFW feeds , generally poor prior experience , and kids' relative lack of interest in social media anyway . rarely kid posts may go up , specifically with adult approval and assistance .
body OS & eira
body OS is , put simple , one way to describe base truths about given plural collective - collective memories and life experiences , collective disabilities and quirks of brain , and so forth . some body OS have unique identity , others seem to be only shell .
for kossai , this body OS is eira . eira have unique identity , but do not have ability to fill out front alone - this throw brain haywire . instead , eira help to unify , and will always exist alongside each person in front . do not think of eira as override , but moreso as add , which often use for cover - whether for individuals to be anonymous , or for collective to appear singlet when necessary . by nature of how eira work , any eira-specific traits effectively also collective , but difference is in origin point . small difference to some , but very useful to know for kossai .
these aspects of eira include :
- collective faerie brain - language ability , social ability , human filter , and so on
- collective memories and knowledge
- collective hobbies and interests
- eira-specific preferences such as fashion style and presentation
- eira-specific gender and sexuality
- eira-specific faerie forms , which represent with sona
religion and magic
much of practise is private , and will remain this way .however , several tags exist in this journal to explore certain topics . this include :
