technology woes !

seem like at least one , if not both , flash drives maybe about to die . one fare slightly better , but other heat up too much for comfort after only short usage , and lag to death - then crash file explorer outright - during simple folder navigation .

these things last since ... probably at least 2018 ? and move from computer to computer with these , as well as generally hold backups , so not surprise would eventually reach this point .
but still annoy .

man and maiden , several possible ways to label to various collective complaints . think settle on nice metaphor , though : manhood is sun , maidenhood is moon .

• both sun and moon always exist and of great importance , but not equally visible .
• moon go through phases - maidenhood is not always of equal intensity and indulgence .
• moon would not shine without sunlight - maidenhood would not exist without manhood .
• eclipses get real weird . :P

ellona ~ quick thoughts on shouts

another quick crosspost from tumblr .

ellona is nonverbal dragonborn . yeah ! can not speak ! so then … how about shouts ?not really sure of all details in lore explanation , but would like to say shout is sort of two parts - first is to focus and hone in on what one need from shout , and second part is actual expression of shout .

in that way , nonverbal ellona can shout because of ability to carry out first part - second part come out as natural effect of first . but other tongues would learn ability to control this second part , and that is where ellona lack . shouts can come out very suddenly , or occasionally not at all , and pronunciation is not guarantee . sort of like magical sneeze .

now just to figure out why last dragonborn would be some random nonverbal bosmer woman . :P
