kossai check in on physical nonhuman forum usually once per day , maybe little more - not much activity , like say before , but still nice to have somewhere to put some of these discussions that know for sure will not be hit by some of usual tumblr bullshit .

visit today end in failure , as display message that board no longer exist . great ! just fucking fantastic ! can not use spaces on discord , so guess only way to really reach out to substantial community is tumblr - tumblr full of endless arguments and folks who just can not keep noses out and want to have all these fun new words without actually understand origins , then point accusatory fingers at original users for whatever .

unfortunately know very well kossai do not have skill set or patience to run something like this personally , otherwise just would at this point . not that anyone would use very much , evidently , but whatever .

It sucks to lose a resource that you rely heavily on. Paywall Reader collapsed a while back and eventually the access to Archive.Today went with it, which is my favorite archive -- when it works.

You might keep an eye on thefreaksclub. While that currently exists on Dreamwidth, the idea is to build a social network for weird people. It seems like a place where people with physical nonhuman traits might congregate.

Mate: We're in a similar boat, we hate using Discord and Tumblr, but it's where all the communities are :/

With exploring any physical nonhumanity, we need it to be a lot more controlled because of issues with unreality, so Discord and Tumblr are a hard no-go

To be honest we also can't keep up with newer and developing terminology and whatever nuances exist, which makes it harder

A DW community would be great but yeah running it can be a commitment

discord is bad for kossai because honestly struggle in both groups and in real time talk . even comments like this hard , but at least will not get completely drown out by other messages if spend some time to think on answer !

in terms of unreality , kossai have opposite thing where really hate attempts to define anyone's personal experiences as unreality - something which is pretty sensitive for kossai as grow up pagan - and know that many other folks also genuinely can not delineate like this . unfortunately still feel like most folks view this as just emotional stubbornness , and not that double bookkeep is equally unreality trigger for some folks .

hard sometimes not to get pretty defensive about this , because there is this attitude that to hurt folks who can not double bookkeep ( and attempt to enforce double bookkeep ) is " better " solution , which is just bull - this is genuine conflict of needs , and spaces need to exist for both , because both have equally real and important feelings and needs . forum was nice because everyone understand this is not that kind of place , and would not accept those behaviours - no one is acceptable to hurt , not even for another's sake . breath of fresh air that is now just whisk away into abyss .

Mate: Discord is just so overstimulating and so much harder to walk away from. You can't just take a few hours to respond like you can with forums.

That is totally fair with unreality! To be honest I'm not too sure how to describe it, I'd rather not say triggering per say? I really have no idea how to describe it, but I do get it. I could always just go metaphorical and say it feels fuzzy.

It's a bit confusing for us too because we fit in both camps. We do have physically nonhuman headmates, but being a system, our experiences wind up being a little too complicated and different headmates react very differently. We still respect others experiences either way, and it's more just wish there was a community in general that both takes into account varying mental illness while not watering it down, which a forum would be perfect for since you can check the topic title and dip out as needed
