from playthrough back in april - originally tell with screenshots , so just summarise here .

firstly , was able to :
give elliott good birthday gift which bump up to 8 hearts .
buy bouquet from pierre and get invitation for 8 heart event in library .
stop elliott outside library to give bouquet .
elliott accept , and then get inside to activate 8 heart event .
cute all around !

later on was even sillier :
on rainy day , catch old mariner who say not ready yet .
give elliott good gift , bump up to 10 hearts .
immediately turn around , buy mermaid pendant .
propose to elliott , elliott joyously accept .
next day , lewis send letter and explain how to propose .
that same next day , elliott invite for 10 heart event .
activate 10 heart event , where elliott is surprise player return affections .
yes , sure elliott , did not know at all ... not as if accept proposal yesterday :P

date night redux mod is fun but also , 2 big things :

elliott do not have unique date event , only generic ones - generic ones , of course , have very generic voice that is often just wrong for elliott . sometimes only slightly , sometimes very . not complain against mod author , imagine already hard enough to write this mod - but something to keep in mind .
wish not every single date would end in sexual implications . wow , kossai complain about something as too horny ? yeah .
there is toggle to turn off suggestive ends , but then have all or none , nothing in between . just feel weirdly imply as if good times only truly enjoyable and complete with sex - and , again can circle back to that whole generic voice thing . everyone is all equally horny and equally value sex as " perfect end " to romantic night , unless disable and then no one is at all . wish if nothing else could have more choice to how end .

want to texture new trinket fairy companions , but need actually earn combat mastery to get companions ? no easy cheats ?
can use cjb to boost levels to 10 , but will get no further gain from there unless miss something . need actually play in test file to unlock things . oh no .

oh good ! did find answer to this from reddit thread ... which will now summarise in case that disappear .

with save file of choice open , paste into SMAPI console :

debug setstat MasteryExp 100000

then warp ( or just ... walk ) to mastery cave and claim what need .
in this case just need combat mastery to test companion trinket textures . :P

in some ways , huge pain stardew valley do not have native texture pack support like minecraft , that need add code through content patcher - which is just awful when work with things like object tilesheet where only want to edit 1 or 2 things , need fiddle with coordinates¹ and all that .

in other ways , kind of glad that not have native texture pack support , because minecraft throw all 900 or so block textures² into one folder and will only only read files in that structure , which can make very hard find things . with stardew valley , can control file structure exactly because all user-end structure is arbitrary , so long as content patcher code point to correct coordinates of correct file .

not always will , if shape of object not different at all . if shape of object same as vanilla , then should be safe to keep original size of tilesheet and only texture over objects that want change , and tell content patcher to overlay rather than replace . but , as soon as change shape , this will not work - original sprite will still show , so need target coordinates with replacement instead .
which include things like different faces of furnaces , cauldrons , fires , and so on - so often more than amount of actual blocks .

know can be some really awkward things with demetrius quotes and events but sort of sad that demetrius mods seem to change everything to make more realistic because ... real people ... can be like that ?

words hard for kossai so sometimes misunderstand , sort of like how demetrius get tomato as fruit . and when people get angry over those things , can feel need fight back and be stubborn about why interpret this wrong way . even if know why wrong , feel important that people understand why happen !
and kossai get very into faerie perspective , can completely forget anyone else have other perspectives ! not try be rude , but just , lose sight on other people sometimes .

yes should be less weird about maru . yes should actually acknowledge sebastian as son . but real people can be weird and awkward and stubborn , real people can lose sight of what others think and feel and know .
so feel sort of erase when people take all that away from demetrius , to say as if now " finally add " personality and realism . just because dislike do not mean not real for some people .

another very funny quote juxtaposition .
shane , during feast of winter star , will say this to player :

I've met some people who believe in spirits, and magic... but me? I've never seen anything that couldn't be explained by science.

... and right there beside shane is , of course , faerie kossai with green skin and big leafy wings .

of course , aim was to change actual piano out .

love leah and elliott friendship , think leah try act like voice of reason about farmer kossai and just ... fail .
leah see danger in random faerie who appear from nowhere and follow elliott around like lost puppy , as one should , while elliott is head over heels . hijinks ensue .

leah : that farmer will eat right up !
elliott : haha ... yeah ... 😍

elliott really just ask if kossai ever visit forest before …
oh elliott .

so much dialogue just unintentionally funny when play as obvious nonhuman character through mod usage .

haley criticise fashion choices and completely ignore giant wings . alex comment on sunburns as if intimately familiar with green skin . elliott wonder out loud if this clear as day faerie ever see forest before . even jas lament about wish to see fairy some day , when kossai is right there !

stardew valley of course have modern technology ... but really love these medieval style textures ... and well , kossai is faerie ... faeries warp time and appearance ... so maybe any modern machinery " turn " to much older alternatives on farm . :P
some things can get very illegible when next to each other in rows . textures beautiful , but plenty of detail and all dark colours . might need to lighten some textures up , or replace with more fantasy magical versions instead . which is fine ! just love idea of make this farm into " place without time " … :)

some texture mods seasonal , which is really pretty honestly .
but ... still prefer just choose one and use that for whole game . 2 reasons :
for one , actually work on compile all these textures into one mega kossai texture pack , because that is easier for find things , change things , and just remove some of mess inherent to 30 different texture mods that have overlap .
but also , again , place without time . something very faerie about place that have bright flowers bloom even in dead of winter , these little pockets where snow and ice do not touch . kossai play around with faerie character themes in some older save files , but this one is one to go all out .

now if only could bypass iron bars and steel tools . :P farmer kossai must have very thick oven mitts to handle this …

I can see it in your eyes... you believe in me, Kossai. You've got that spark. Now that's inspiring! That's what I'm looking for...

poor sweet elliott with dangerous faerie muse .

what follow was screenshot of kossai wait inside cabin for elliott to return home , with gift of flowers , as well as this text :

this is how humans court , right ? right ? wait in house for crush to return so can shove flowers in face ? yes ! this is what humans do !

see with farmer kossai as just ... kossai for once , whole original backstory do not make sense .
farmer kossai do not have family , not human one anyway . probably more accurate to what happen is just suddenly appear and take over old farm , and everyone too terrify to tell faerie to piss off and leave .

which then actually work out really well , because , well , farmer fix fucking everything in pelican town .
